Doing business in Montenegro

Montenegro offers a very small e-commerce market with its 620,000 inhabitants. As in many other European countries, this has grown during the pandemic (12% in 2020). Montenegrin is spoken in Montenegro and the national currency is the Euro.

Currently, there are about 70% internet users in the country – and this number is growing. Internet users in Montenegro like to buy from foreign merchants. Therefore, it is not surprising that the largest turnover in online trade is achieved by international giants such as amazon.com, ebay.com and alieexpress.com.

Roman has been working in marketing and e-commerce since high school. His breakthrough came in 2015, when he joined Alza.cz, the largest e-shop in the Czech Republic. For about 4 years he was involved in e-commcerce and SEO, where he was already leading his team at that time.
